Try A Burning Bowl Ceremony to Welcome in 2018

Create a ritual to release all the things you no longer need in your life.
Make space in your life to welcome new and better things.
Try a burning bowl ceremony at home, by yourself, with friends, or at your local spiritual center.
Most are done during the latter part of December and others may happen in January.

Thank You to 2017!

Dear Universe,

I want to offer gratitude for my 2017 year.

I had all my needs met.
I moved past many illusions and fears that my ego created and attracted.
I changed.
I healed.
I transformed.
I learned.
I allowed more love into my life.
I attracted a great new apartment in San Francisco.
I released places that no longer served me.
I am healthy.
I am actively doing my work in the world.
I am surrounded by many people who celebrate, share and enjoy what I do.
I made new friends.
I strengthened my daily spiritual practice.
I have lots of people I love and enjoy in my life.

My 2017 year was blessed, fun, filled with light and goodness.

Thank you, Great Mother!

I am looking forward to my new 2018 year. I intend to make it great!

Hello To All the Magical People,

Winter Solstice–the shortest day and longest night of the year. For Pagans, Wiccans and Goddess worshippers, this is one of our most sacred holidays. As winter closes in, the darkness grows and the light recedes. For Pagans, darkness is the necessary balance to light. We don’t conceive of the dark as evil, but as a place of potential, of gestation–the black, fertile soil where the seed puts forth roots and shoots, the dark womb where new life is nurtured. But being humans, we also have a natural affinity for the light, the time of growth and new beginnings, of warmth and color and bright new hopes. Solstice reminds us that no darkness, no loss, no grief or disappointment is final. Out of darkness, light is born. Every ending gives rise to a new beginning. Out of disappointment and despair comes new courage, new hope.

Winter solstice is the astronomical phenomenon marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. In the northern hemisphere, it is happening now, while in the southern hemisphere, it occurs in June. Sunrise at the ancient Stonehenge celebrates it. Northern Europeans call it yule. Cultures around the world have picked up on the yule traditions with customs of a Christmas tree, wreath and the yule log. It is a definitive communication to all peoples everywhere that Life is cyclical and natural. This Truth brings me Great joy. My heart sings, knowing I am here to grow through the cycles of my imperfect Life.
There is no astrological day that is the ideal from which other days deviate. There is no group of friends who are perfect. There are no family traditions observed because that’s the way it has to be. If things make sense, are healthy for all involved and allow joy, bring them on. These cycles in Life Create the diversification and fun inherent in a rich, full and meaningful Life.

This amount of sunlight versus night is ever changing. It obeys the laws of the universe in its trip through the galaxy. As I give myself permission to learn and expand, I can offer that same acceptance to others. Let’s embrace the differences we observe in others. We are cyclical. This holiday is cyclical. The universe is cyclical. Let us embrace change and celebrate it.

We are Spiritual Beings

We are Spiritual Beings, and any other identity detracts
from the majesty of our True Essence. Let go of false beliefs
about yourself, that the True you may shine in all its splendor.

Hello World,

I wanted to reflect on my 2017 and offer gratitude for it.

Spirit was very clear with me about lessons that I needed to focus on in this year.

May you all find good things in 2017 that you are grateful for and acknowledge them before the new year.

December, Holiday Time, & Being of Service

Hello Beautiful People,

It is the beginning of December and we are getting closer to the Holiday time. I wanted to remind you that while you are getting things together for yourself and family, make an extra effort to help others at this time.

This is a great time in the year to be of service, to do some volunteer work, and to do something that helps the whole (especially if you don't make time during the rest of the year).

During the holidays, there are lots of people in our country that could use our assistance.
Give in whatever ways you can and give with an open heart.

You can make a big difference.

Ways to Help This Holiday Season

1. give money to a great organization
2. give time or volunteer
3. give toys to children drives
4. clean out your closets and donate clothes and other goods
5. donate food or canned goods to food drives
6. give your warm, mildly used coats to a coat drive

I slept and dreamt that life was a joy.
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.
