There are always those who...

There are always those who thrive when masses are dying of sickness. There are always those who thrive economically when economic decline seems to be the order of your nation. There are always those who are clear-minded in environments of confusion. You do not need everyone or anyone else to align with your desire—only you need to align with your desire.

Letting Go And Letting God

The Divine Consciousness That I Am is forever expressing its true nature of Abundance. This is its responsibility, Not mine.  My only Responsibility is to BE aware of this Truth. Therefore, I Am totally Confident in letting go and letting God BE the Abundant all Sufficiency in my life and affairs.

- John Randolph Price – The Abundance Book; with a Spirtualthug Twist

Happy Samhain!!!!

Happy Samhain!!!!

Welcome Samhain!

A time when it is said the veils thin between the living and the dead.

The next Turn of the Wheel approaches we enter the season of Samhaim*. ...

This turn is a time of celebration and honoring, of preparing and listening. All Hallows Eve welcomes in the gateway to the dark time of the year. We celebrate the life we are living and the roads we travel. We dance the spiral of death and rebirth by honoring our ancestors both of blood and spirit. Ever seeing ourselves in the great web of unending LIFE. We prepare for changes in day and night light hours as the balance tips to one. Listening for allied voices that speak from the universal womb of silence. Exhale...drop anchor...expand and REMEMBER...

Feel into the regenerative spiraling energy as it moves in and out on each breath. What comes to you as you watch the cycle? What do your senses perceive? Beyond that? And still further? The breath is a spiral. Samhain opens the spiral pathway, extending it as the cycle of death and re-birth dances its never-ending dance.

As the veils thin we are given the opportunity to connect to those who have gone before. We can expand the definition of ancestor beyond blood-relations, as for some these lines are fraught with challenging emotions, to include ancestors of spirit. Do you feel yourself part of a lineage? Artists? Healers? Wisdom Keepers? Heroes & Sheroes? Who inspires you? Who are kindred to you? Name them! At Samhain honor them!

Samhain is a potent season of remembrance. One of four High Holidays that cross-quarter the Equinox and Solstice. Treat this time with exploration & inquiry. Decorate your altar with images that invoke your lineage and ancestors, beloved and mighty dead. Use autumn leaves, fall flowers, pomegranates, apples, pumpkins, ears of corn, sprays of grain, corn dollies, gourds, nuts, seeds, acorns, chestnuts to call in the final harvest.* Consider wearing black and orange clothes. Use these colors for altar clothes and accent with gold and deep red candles. Divination with the 13 Moon deck or other tools is particularly enlightening, as is fire and candle gazing. Choose your favorite! Scribe, dance, celebrate and HONOR!

(*Note: Samhain is pronounced sowen, soween, saw-win, saw-vane or sahven, not sam-hayne. Other names for Samhain include Samhuin, Samain, Saman, Oidhche Shamhna, Hallowe'en, Halloween, Hallows, Hallowtide, Shadow Fest, Allantide, Third Harvest, Harvest Home, Geimredh, Day of the Dead (Feile na Marbh), Feast of the Dead, Spirit Night, Candle Night, November Eve, Nutcrack Night, Ancestor Night and Apple Fest.)

November, Holiday Time, & Being of Service

Hello Beautiful People,

It is the beginning of November and we are getting closer to the Holiday time.
I wanted to remind you that while you are getting things together for yourself and family for Thanksgiving and such, make an extra effort to help others at this time.

This is a great time in the year to be of service, to do some volunteer work, and to do something that helps the whole (especially if you don't make time during the rest of the year).

During the holidays, there are lots of people in our country that could use our assistance.
Give in whatever ways you can and give with an open heart.
You can make a big difference.

1. give money to a great organization
2. give time or volunteer
3. give toys to children drives
4. clean out your closets and donate clothes and other gooods
5. donate food or canned goods to food drives
6. give your warm, mildly used coats to a coat drive

I slept and dreamt that life was a joy.
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.
