2019 New Years: Meditate for World Peace

Celebrate the New Year!

Let Us Encircle the World with Peace and Love

New Years: Meditate for World Peace whenever you can from December 31 through January 1st.

We invite you to join with us and millions from around the world meditating during this time for World Peace. You can participate by sending love and peace to humanity and all life. If you can, take a moment to link with the millions of people meditating for World Peace 5 minutes before midnight until 5 minutes after midnight, your time to draw the Spirit of Peace closer to humanity.

It has been written in the ageless wisdom how the collective thoughts and desires of humanity for peace calls closer to earth a great being, the Spirit of Peace. The Spirit of Peace is coming nearer, drawn closer by the millions who are praying for World Peace.

Importance of Holding a Positive Vision for Humanity

Never before have so many people joined in prayer and focused their collective will on love, unity, and a better world for all. Even though you may not see the results of your inner work and prayers, they are making a difference. You are preparing the way for a better world for yourself, your children, and future generations.

When world events or crises occur, use your imagination to picture the eventual positive outcome for everyone involved. Rather than focus on how bad things are, hold a vision of the possibilities of transformation and opportunities for growth that exist in every area of life. Refuse to live in fear or to energize negative scenarios–do not think of them, imagine them, or worry about them. Every time a negative picture comes into your mind, replace it with a positive vision.

Eventually current world situations will resolve into a more stable world and a greater unity among nations. We cannot tell how long this will take, or how easy or difficult the process will be, for you live on a planet of free will. We do see the direction, for the heart centers of humanity are awakening.

You can accelerate and help make this transition to a higher unity more rapid for humanity by becoming aware of any thoughts or beliefs you can shift to be more open, loving, inclusive, and broad in your viewpoint.

Your commitment to expressing love is the greatest gift you can give at this time. Have love and compassion for yourself as well, and treat yourself kindly, for loving others starts with self-love.

Winter Solstice–the shortest day and longest night of the year. For Pagans, Wiccans and Goddess worshippers, this is one of our most sacred holidays. As winter closes in, the darkness grows and the light recedes. For Pagans, darkness is the necessary balance to light. We don’t conceive of the dark as evil, but as a place of potential, of gestation–the black, fertile soil where the seed puts forth roots and shoots, the dark womb where new life is nurtured. But being humans, we also have a natural affinity for the light, the time of growth and new beginnings, of warmth and color and bright new hopes. Solstice reminds us that no darkness, no loss, no grief or disappointment is final. Out of darkness, light is born. Every ending gives rise to a new beginning. Out of disappointment and despair comes new courage, new hope.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Winter solstice is the astronomical phenomenon marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. In the northern hemisphere, it is happening now, while in the southern hemisphere, it occurs in June. Sunrise at the ancient Stonehenge celebrates it. Northern Europeans call it yule. Cultures around the world have picked up on the yule traditions with customs of a Christmas tree, wreath and the yule log. It is a definitive communication to all peoples everywhere that Life is cyclical and natural. This Truth brings me Great joy. My heart sings, knowing I am here to grow through the cycles of my imperfect Life.
There is no astrological day that is the ideal from which other days deviate. There is no group of friends who are perfect. There are no family traditions observed because that’s the way it has to be. If things make sense, are healthy for all involved and allow joy, bring them on. These cycles in Life Create the diversification and fun inherent in a rich, full and meaningful Life.
This amount of sunlight versus night is ever changing. It obeys the laws of the universe in its trip through the galaxy. As I give myself permission to learn and expand, I can offer that same acceptance to others. Let’s embrace the differences we observe in others. We are cyclical. This holiday is cyclical. The universe is cyclical. Let us embrace change and celebrate it.
